Maningas, Sarmiento gagradweyt bilang Magna Cum Laude

Umabot sa 1,437 na mag-aaral ang magsisipagtapos sa ika-62 Annual Commencement Exercises ng Central Luzon State University na gaganapin sa University
Graduation Site sa Abril 11. Tumaas ang bilang ng mga magtatapos ngayong taon, kung ihahawig sa 1,121 noong nakaraang taon.

Si Angelie Maningas ng Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSAc), magna cum laude, ang magbibigay
ng valedictory address sa naturang graduation na may temang ‘Upholding Excellence and Relevance Amidst Challenges of Globalization in Higher Education’ matapos makuha ang pinakamataas na grade point average GPA na 1.42.

“Know your goal and yourself,” wika ni Maningas. “Keep in mind there is no substitute for hardwork.”
Sumunod na pinakamataas si Mann Cyron Eser Sarmiento, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), na magtatapos din bilang magna cum laude na may GPA na 1.43. “Graduating on time and as magna cum laude does not require luck. Correct time management, hardwork and perseverance are needed,” ani Sarmiento.
Bukod sa nakuhang karangalan, kapwa tatanggap sina Maningas at Sarmiento ng Manny Villar Excellence
Award.“Just like what our professors always tell us, ‘always aim for 1.0, so that even if you miss it , you will still get 1.25,” dagdag ni Sarmiento. “Balance your studies and your social life. Never forget your friends. Always remember those that trully matter in life.”

Samantala, sa 48 na cum laude, pinakamarami ang nagmula sa Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (BSEd) na may siyam, sinundan ito ng pito mula sa BSAC, tig-anim sa Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology (BSAT) at Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM), lima sa Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), tatlo sa Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, at dalawa sa Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

May tig-iisa namang cum laude ang Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA), Bachelor of Arts in Development Communication (ABDevComm), Bachelor of Science in Biology (BSBio), Bachelor of Science in Statistics (BSStat), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education
(BEEd), Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Extension Education (BSAExEd), Bachelor of Science in Meteorology (BSMet), Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry (BSAH) at DVM.

Pinakamataas si Andre Luis Dellosa, BSA mga 48 cum laude (1.46) ngayong taon.

Napasakamay naman ng mga BSHRM na sina Rommel Paliwanan at Richard Gian Romero, at Andrew Calso ng BSEd ang Cultural Award. Nakuha ni Kenneth F. Antolin, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at punong patnugot ng CLSU Collegian, ang Campus Journalism Award, habang napunta kay Desiree Policarpio ng BSAc at auditor ng University Supreme Student Council, ang Leadership Award.
