CLSU researcher: 2014 Outstanding Young Scientist

The National Academy of Science and Technology Philippines (NAST Phi) declared Dr. Karl Marx A. Quiazon (4th from left) as one of the recipients of the 2014 Outstanding Young Scientist (OYS) in the field of Aquatic Biosciences held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City last July 10. He received a plaque, a cash prize of P125,000.00, and a research grant of P500,000.00 upon approval of a research/project proposal. He is flanked here (from left) by Dr. Raul D. Divina, VP for Administration; Dr. Tereso A. Abella, VP for Academic Affairs; Dr. Ruben C. Sevilleja, CLSU President; Dr. Emmanuel Vera Cruz, dean, College of Fisheries; and Dr. Eduardo G.
